The River Thames Society ran a competition for the best contemporary poems about the river and asked us to design a 56 page fully illustrated booklet (www.amazon.co.uk) which contained the winning entries. We successfully proposed a landscape format and designed an attractive cover which uses a tapestry of images to evoke the many faces of the Thames. Careful typography and some imaginative decisions for combining text and image combined to make a successful publication which was well received by the Society and local poetry lovers.
